A Farmer’s Market Inspired Spring Cocktail
We were inspired to make this cooling cocktail after stumbling across Laurel Path Garden’s Organic Mint Sugar at the farmer’s market in Buda, TX! It smells (and tastes) fantastic, and looks beautiful as a cocktail rim. Pick some up if you’re ever at the Buda Farmer’s Market, and until then, you can make something similar yourself!

Tito’s Handmade Vodka Mint Green Tea Lemonade
Infusion Ingredients:
- 2 cups of Tito’s Handmade Vodka
- 1 bag green tea (or 1-2 tsp loose leaf tea)
Cocktail Ingredients:
- 1 ½ oz Tito’s Handmade Vodka Green Tea Infusion
- 4 oz fresh lemonade (or iced tea)
- Honey, to taste
- Fresh mint to garnish
- Mint Sugar, to rim
To make the green tea infusion, pour 2 cups of Tito’s Handmade Vodka into a mason jar or non-reactive vessel. Add green tea, seal, and set out of direct sunlight. If using loose leaf tea, use a tea infuser or cheesecloth tied with baker’s twine. Gently shake every so often, and steep for 8-24 hours. Remove tea once the infusion has reached your desired strength. This recipe will be a enough to make about 10 cocktails.
Mix 1 ½ oz of the infusion with 4 oz of lemonade or iced tea. Pour over ice into your Mint Sugar rimmed glass. Add honey to taste and fresh mint to garnish. Enjoy!
