Tito’s Vodka is not just for drinking anymore and these crafty Texas bakers have found a way to incorporate the vodka into dessert! Talk about a pairing…and just in time for holiday entertaining!

A few months ago, Silver Whisk Cooking School (http://silverwhiskcooking.com) here in Austin hosted a cooking with Tito’s class and these Cup’o Tito Latte cupcakes were brought in from Showcakes in Houston.
The vanilla cake is soaked in a chocolate cream and topped with a vanilla butter cream infused with coconut vanilla bean Tito’s Vodka coffee liqueur frosting and sugar crystals.

A few weeks later at Austin’s amazing Dolce Vida Food and Wine event, we ran into Jocelyn Leffall of Sugaplump Bakery who had Tito’s infused spiced cakeballs out to try. WOW.

She says the cakeballs are inspired by her Mother’s spiced cake recipe on a backdrop of orange citrus and also because Jocelyn wanted to find a way to give back locally. All of her ordering information is here on her gorgeous website!
