That’s right, folks, New Year’s Day is also National Bloody Mary Day!

The Bloody Mary is one of those drinks that can be as simple or elaborate as you want it to be. Pour some Tito’s Handmade Vodka over ice with a pre-made mix, stir and garnish with a stalk of celery (or not), or make your own mix, and load it up with wild, over-the-top toppings — this holiday toasts both extremes and everywhere in between!

National Bloody Mary Day Prep List

The Basics

• Tito’s Handmade Vodka

The Mixer

• Bloody Mary mix of your choice (click here to jump to recipes)

OR

• Tomato juice
• Worcestershire sauce
• Horseradish
• Hot sauce or sriracha
• Pineapple juice
• Celery Salt

The Garnishes

• Celery
• Olives
• Limes
• Pickled veggies (okra, pickles… green beans are Tito’s personal favorite!)
• Cherry tomatoes
• Pepperoncinis
• Pepperoni
• Cheese cubes or baby mozzarella
• Cocktail onions
• Hot sauce
• Bacon
• Parsley
• Freshly ground black pepper
• Celery salt or sea salt for rim

The Tools

• Glassware (may we suggest our Mason Jar mugs?)
• Shaker
• Jigger
• Tongs
• Garnish picks (toothpicks are an easy option)

The Recipes

Bloody Mary Batch

(makes approximately 20 drinks)

• 1 liter Tito’s Handmade Vodka
• 3 liters tomato juice
• 2 oz Worcestershire sauce
• 2 oz pineapple juice
• 2 oz sriracha or hot sauce
• 1 oz celery salt

Pint Glass Bloody Mary

If you don’t want to make a big batch, but you want to mix up your own, here are the proportions for a single pint-glass sized serving:

• 1.5 oz Tito’s Handmade Vodka
• 1 tsp hot sauce (get adventurous — try sriracha!)
• 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
• 1 tsp horseradish
• 0.5 tsp (or less) celery salt
• Splash (1-2 oz) pineapple juice
• Tomato juice

Add ice and all ingredients to a cocktail shaker, shake 3-4 times to mix, pour into your pint glass (or mason jar) and garnish.

Tito’s Basic Bloody Mary

• 1.5 oz Tito’s Handmade Vodka
• 3-4 oz your favorite Bloody Mary mix

Combine Tito’s Handmade Vodka, Bloody Mary mix and ice in a shaker. Shake well, pour everything into a glass, and garnish.
