Tito’s on Tour: Sun Valley Film Festival 2016
Sun Valley Film Festival Recap
Team Tito’s is back in Austin after an inspiring weekend at Sun Valley Film Festival in the gorgeous Idaho mountains. This intimate, friendly, accessible festival included music, coffee talks, panels, and workshops as well as films… and Tito’s Handmade Vodka cocktails were flowing all weekend long — from mid-morning Bloody Marys on the first day all the way through the awards party, held late Saturday night. We especially loved sipping on the featured festival cocktail, a refreshing mix of Tito’s Handmade Vodka, grapefruit, and cranberry named “The Shark Bite” (can you guess what classic horror flick inspired this one?).
We are so proud of both Film Lab features, Bunker77 and 11:55, which were screened on Friday and Saturday. Audience members gave feedback, and submitted their votes. On Saturday night, Bunker77, directed by Takuji Masuda and produced by Art Brewer and Craig Stecyk, walked away with The Film Lab Award and finishing funds. We can’t wait to see the final product!

This was our fifth year at this special event, and we’re already looking forward to our sixth!
Sun Valley Film Festival Preview
This week we’re heading to Idaho for the Sun Valley Film Festival!
We’ll be celebrating all kinds of creativity all weekend long, and are especially honored to be joining forces with The Film Lab to support burgeoning filmmakers.
On Friday and Saturday from 4:30-6pm, Trevor Groth, Sundance Film Festival’s Director of Programming, will be presenting two works-in-progress films as they compete for finishing funds from Tito’s Handmade Vodka. Screenings will be followed by Q&A sessions with the two teams of filmmakers, a chance for you to get an exclusive, inside look at the filmmaking process before the films are released, and Tito’s cocktails (of course).
The 2016 finalist films are Bunker 77, which will be screened on Friday, March 4th, at 4:30pm, and 11:55, which will be screened on Saturday, March 5th, at 4:30pm.
Festival and Film Passholders receive priority admission to these screenings, but limited individual tickets are available to each of the films. For more details, visit sunvalleyfilmfestival.org.
Let’s go to the movies!
