THE LOVE BITE:
1.5 oz Tito’s
.5 oz Kubler or other blanche absinthe
(traditional green absinthe will distort the color of this drink)
.75 Raspberry syrup
(such as Monin or another coffee shop style syrup)
1 oz Pineapple juice
.5 oz Fresh squeezed lime juice
.25 oz raspberry liqueur, for drizzle

Combine first five ingredients in a mixing glass. Shake vigorously with ice to chill. Strain over crushed ice into a cocktail glass. Drizzle raspberry syrup over top and garnish with fresh berries and sipper straws.

THE BITTER BREAKUP:
1.5 oz Tito’s
.5 oz Campari
.25 oz Cointreau
2 dashes Peychaud’s bitters
6 drops Luxardo maraschino liqueur

Combine ingredients in a mixing glass with ice and stir to chill.

Strain into a chilled cocktail glass and garnish with a lemon twist.

Then just sit back and enjoy!

These special Tito’s inspired Valentine’s Day drinks were created by David Alan of TipsyTexan.com fame. He wrote “I did two drinks that I think can qualify as Valentine’s drinks, without getting to cheesy with the white chocolate liqueur and sprinkles!” And he added, as for the drink name The Bitter Breakup that “it’s kind of a Valentines day drink for the recently single..” So whichever you decide to make, we’re sure you’ll enjoy both of David’s creations!
