Meet Roscoe. Distillery Dog-in-Residence
As you may have noticed, the Tito’s Vodka family is made up of a lot of animal lovers. Tito built his distillery more than 15 years ago with his beloved Shepherd mix DogJoe by his side.
To this day, we have counted about 30 homeless dogs and cats that have passed though the distillery grounds and all have been brought to good health and absorbed by Tito’s employees or their extended family.
Last Spring, Nicole, our Brand Manager and myself hosted a table in the name of Tito’s at a luncheon where $10,000 was raised for Emancipet‘s low-cost spay/neuter programs. While there, we also learned about their brand new mobile unit and celebrated their twelve year anniversary. As of August, Emancipet has done over 137,000 surgeries and are on track to do about 17,000 surgeries this year. Emancipet, along with several other shelters and the city have all cooperated to earn the achievement of a 96% save rate of Austin’s homeless pets the last few months. Emancipet serves Hays, Caldwell, Bastrop, Travis and Williamson Counties here in Texas through their free and low cost spay neuter programs. Recently, we decided to keep our latest rescued distillery dog Roscoe, at the distillery rather than finding him a new home. After claiming that Roscoe winked at him, Tito had a yard fenced and a house built for him. I took him to Emancipet to get all of his shots last week and neutered. He is recovering nicely and settling in to his life there. We are thrilled to have him as dog in residence and we will keep you all updated on his adventures here.

I love Roscoe, Those eyes are sooo sweet and appreciative. I have never had Tito’s Vodka but after reading all you do for homeless pets I’m buying my 1st bottle tonight when I get off work as a present for someone. I will make sure to get a bottle for my husband too.
We have 2 shelter rescue dogs so I love a good animal story. Thank you!

God bless you all for supporting the spay/neuter clinics. I will look for your products here in Washington State. Roscoe is a very lucky boy.
