This weekend the Tito’s Handmade Vodka team will be in downtown West Palm Beach, Florida for the 1st Annual Downtown Showdown KDW Fishing Tournament and Saltwater Festival!

We are thrilled to support one of the biggest fishing tournaments ever held on the West Palm Beach Waterfront. In addition to the fishing tournament, which guarantees a payout of $10,000 cash for the biggest fish, the beautiful Flagler Drive will be closed to cars from Banyan Boulevard to Datura Street, on Saturday, May 23rd 11am – 8pm, for a free, family-friendly festival with local artists and vendors, food trucks, and live music on the Tito’s Handmade Vodka stage. With classic and exotic car shows, a boat show, a casting competition and a “kid zone” there will be something for everyone at the Downtown Showdown!

This tournament is held in honor of Scott Terry, an exceptional angler, community advocate, and friend of the Tito’s Handmade Vodka family. Scott dreamed of hosting a unique fishing tournament in Palm Beach County, one that truly celebrated the sport, and now, just over a year since his untimely passing, four fisherman are bringing his dream to life. Proceeds from this tournament and the surrounding festivities will benefit Lauren’s Kids, a non-profit organization in which Scott was very active. Lauren’s Kids educates adults and children about sexual abuse prevention through in-school curricula, awareness campaigns and speaking engagements around the country and the world. We are so proud to be part of this celebration, which realizes Scott’s vision.
