The first vodka drink that Danie Hutch drank was a Gimlet, but the first one she crafted was a Caipiroska for her grandparents who had lived in Brazil. A Richmond, Virginia native, Hutch moved to Brooklyn a decade ago, and splits her time hunting adrenaline on Coney Island rollercoasters or racing her bike around NYC. She likes hanging out on the water in Brooklyn with friends and takes Chico her 10-pound “Jack-hua” everywhere with her. Muddling limes for her gran was great, but today she’s more proud of the candied bacon she adds to Bloody Mary’s. Danie bartenders in Brooklyn, NY.
