Spiked Pumpkin Pie Shooters

Part drink, part dessert, these boozy pumpkin pie shooters from Honest Cooking Magazine and Broma Bakery are sure to be a hit at your holiday party. Eggnog mixes with pumpkin and Tito’s Handmade Vodka to create a creamy pumpkin pie-like filling that might just go down all too easily… especially with caramelized meringue on top!

Spiked Pumpkin Pie Shooters

Ingredients:

Pumpkin Pie

  • 6 oz eggnog
  • 3 oz Tito’s Handmade Vodka
  • 5 Tbsp pumpkin puree
  • ½ tsp cinnamon

Toasted Meringue

  • 1 large egg white, room temperature
  • 2 Tbsp plus 2 tsp sugar

Instructions:

  1. In a cocktail shaker with ice cubes, combine eggnog, vodka, pumpkin puree, and cinnamon. Strain into 6 shooter glasses.
  2. To make the meringue, whisk egg whites and sugar using an electric mixer until stiff peaks form. Place into a piping bag fitted with a medium star tip and pipe over the top of the shooters. Use a torch to lightly caramelize the meringue. Serve immediately.
